I loved BF1942, but that's almost 20 years ago now (omg :amazed: )
I still play BF2 from time to time. Awesome game.

Would choose BF over COD any day.
By the way, @Cheeveer recommended a WWII shooter a few months ago I think? Can’t remember the name though.
Hell Let Loose is the shit.

YES, that is the one. I didn't say at the time, but after you mentioned that I spent the next week watching gameplay videos on that. If I wasn't so crap with games I would have bought it (I have installed two or three new games on my PC since last October and not played a single one).

I tried playing Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 3, but it doesn't work.
Probably because this game, released in 2000, utilises graphics in a different way compared to modern games.

Anyone with advice?
1) to run the game
2) to have it in the best possible configuration

?

Semi related aside...

How about Grand Prix 2... but better?

Honestly, that just looks the bee's knees and I could play that for hours. Looks like soooo much fun.

EDIT: Looks like Grand Prix 3 is part of the mod: https://www.racedepartment.com/download ... sta.35026/

I knew about the GP1 and GP2 mods because of the video above, but the GP3 one as well! That's awesome.

Btw I'm absolutely sure that GP2 looked exactly the same as this back in the day.

The jump from GP1 to GP2 made me feel like it was freaking reality. I truly remember thinking back then as a kid "How can things look any better?"

Good times.

The shift from VGA to SVGA was massive for 8 year old me. I was blown away.

AU$2.95.

A good bit of fun.

I hear Age of Empires 4 is on the way.

Yet another game to add to the list to catch up on, eventually.

So much time spent on AoE1-3.
