Im not sure if it is here better or in The Lounge section.

It's not some A-Team game is it? Or Bladerunner, or whatever it was called...

Am I even close?

Cause it is no desert it isn't Desert Strike
I believe is the only screen in the whole game where you see a chopper.

Metal Gear 2: Snake's Revenge

Either that or the first Metal Gear, but the difference is the text, so I think it's Metal Gear 2.

If that's correct, then the Metal Gear series did not get it's finale this year. The Metal Gear SOLID series got it's finale. There may be more Metal Gear games, just not Metal Gear Solid ones.

Just clearing that up. =]

And to clean you up, Snake's Revenge isn't Metal Gear 2.
Metal Gear 2 name was Metal Gear Soild Snake and only got released on the MSX & MSX 2. Oh and on Metal Gear Soild 3 as well as bonus game.;)

Anyway you right!

It's strange, Metal Gear Solid (for Playstation One) is one of very few games I used to own (I was never actually into gaming), and it looked completely different to what you've posted. Or am I mixing something up?

It looks totally different cause my picture wasn't the PS1 Metal Gear Soild.
My game is from the good old Nintendo Entertainment System. (NES)

So it was called Metal Gear Solid, too? Which year is that? I remember the first part of the PlayStation One version was released somewhere around 1999.

No is just called Metal Gear, the name changed into Soild since the Play Station era.
Some people doesn't even know there was something before MGS on the PS1, so did i but that changed since i'm into emulation since 2001.
Well the Metal Gear Soild make some referens to the perivous games but is not that important except maybe in MGS 4, i heard it makes links to all exsisting Metal Gear games. I never played any newer Metal Gear game since the MGS1 on the PS1 so i can't tell if that is true.

Anyway stay away from those NES MG games, it might have the name Metal Gear but trust me they suck.
