One of those v. good bands from the U, S and A, who flooded the late 80s with excellent speed/thrash stuff, but they were just a tad too late. By the time they'd demoed their way to a contract, noone gave two thirds of a fuck. Ironically, these albums were given away for nothing at record stores, and today, they're collector's items. Then what happens, a small edition of import cds are reissued, because noone has the vinyls, and then these cds in turn become collector's items. The vinyl collectors then get the rare cds, because they've got bonus tracks, and then, after a while, when the vinyl/cd collectors have kids, they sell the stuff to the Japanese who buy just about anything, including your grandma's colostomy bag from 1997, if it turns out she screwed Mick Jagger in 1963. Oh, boy.

Surely a good example of a FIAT song would be more like 'Do the LUCAmotion with me'.

Thanks for that, reminded me of this absurd and sleazy night club downtown called the Locomotion, it was a place where people would end up after an all-nighter in the normal pubs, and it was just one big brawl at times. As in "do the Locomotion with me", which was even a requestable song at the place. Great memories from those nights, chairs and bottles flying. Noone ever called the police. Place is closed now, such a shame. People would wake up with headaches, empty pockets, bruises on their faces, possibly a snoring slag next to them, and a laugh and a song in their hearts. And furthermore "lokum" means loo in Danish, and the Locomotion was referred to as the "loco" or "lokummet". Ah, them good old days...

Led Zeppelin: Trampled Under Foot. Full of sexual innuendo, thinly disguised as car terminology.
