***Some say you should live each day like it was your last... but who wants to live each day in wild panic and extreme death anxiety?
The universe, look at the hugeness of it... it is a dizzying thought that little ol' me is the centre of it all!***

sounds wise and true. they should do more songs like this in italy instead of a gay like tiziano ferro or tahat bitch like laura pausini. and yes metal thrashing mad is a great song, whoever sings itzetrro wrote:You wouldn't take a taxi
You said you couldn't stay
You drink and drink and drive
Almost every day
Your life speeds through your mind
Faster than you drive
Living on a shoestring
All your fucking life
Your friends say you need help
You tell them that you're fine
As you tip the bottle
And swallow some cheap wine
You're a living time bomb
Waiting to explode
You'll just be a statistic
When you're dead and cold!
Every time you drink and drive
You always think that you'll survive
Till your car is crushed and bent
Impact is imminent
Sirens fill the streets aloud
It always draws the biggest crowd
They peel your body off cement
Impact is imminent!
The daily obituaries reveal
More and more fools climbed behind the wheel
Thinking they were sober enough to drive
They didn't know they'd never come back alive
A bad case of double vision
Led straight onto a head-on collision
Passed out and crossed the double line
How can anyone be so asinine?
Blind drunk and hauling ass
He got airborne off an overpass
He never knew he left the ground
Like a warhead target bound
You can't correct your fatal mistake
When you're the guest of honor at your own wake
Thought he could fly till he hit cement
Impact is imminent!
Drunken time bombs set to detonate
When happy hour's over they're off to celebrate
Their vision's but a blur, they barely see the road
Been drinking for so long they're starting to erode
A fucking drunken lush climbs into his car
Kills you in an instant coming from the bar
An alcoholic bum hits you from behind
A child and his mother run down in their prime!

The Metallica song called The Mechanics lyrics use a lot of motor related double senses and i lvoe the four wheels on the floor metaphore. The song was later reworked into "The four horsemen" with completelly different lyrics and a guitar solo more. It was originally written by Dave Mustaine that went to record it with the name Mechanix in Megadeth first album.
Dave Mustaine wrote:Imagine you were at my station
And you brought your motor to me
Your a burner yeah, a real motor car
You said you wanna get your order filled
You made me shiver when I put it in
Pumping just won't do, ya know, luckily for you
Who'd ever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
You made my drive shaft crank
You made my pistons buldge
You made my ball bearings melt from the heat
Oh yeah
We were shifting gears hard when we took off
Pushin hard, all four on the floor
Then we hit top end ya know it feels so slow
You said you wanna get your order filled
You made me shiver when I put it in
Pumping just won't do, ya know, luckily for you
Who'd ever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
You made my drive shaft crank
You made my pistons buldge
You made my ball bearings melt from the heat
Oh yeah
I'm giving you my full service
And ya know it's more than enough
Your engine sparks my plug, ya know that I'm in love
Imagine you were at my station
And you brought your motor to me
With all four on the floor, a view of what's in store
Who'd ever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
You made my drive shaft crank
You made my pistons buldge
You made my ball bearings melt from the heat
Oh yeah

Thanks for posting that, it is arguably the most important of all thrash metal songs ever written.

Suzi Quatro: Daytona Demon. Sounds like Glad All Over by Dave Clark Five. Which she later did a cover of.

Iggy Pop: Ugliness (not about cars, but using car sounds). "They got the car, the mighty house, and all - but they ain't got no motherfucking balls!".
