What about we use different cars for different tracks? As we have now started with Crystal Palace, it is obvious that we use the Eagle there.

No. First all the tracks with the Eagle. After that we take an other car.
At least that is my opinion.

Hi ReneLotus !

Here is the link for the file:

Sendspace_Link_Montjuich_Petite (zipped and uploaded at 17.12.2007):

http://www.sendspace.com/file/u4l52u

It is a complete copy of my Montjuich-folder with some adaptions to run on my PIII with the Voodoo5500. I test it at training-mode with the GPLEA-Eagle from the GPL 1967er set. In the trackfolder is a new montjuich.3do for lower the object-load and a lot of reduced mips (most of them 128x128). All credits goes to the authors of track creating and to the guy make the dirty-quick-3do-fix and the other guy he load the reduced mips.

Save your installed trackfolder first. Unzip and copy my folder in your installation an test it.

Feel free to ask for any problems with this. I will help with my knowledge of this track and Voodoo-compatibility.

Greetings

Achim

P.S.: Please give me a comment for your tests. I will look dayly on this thread. Have fun.

Hi Achim,

I have tried your files for Montjuich and I am happy to say they worked!
There is a bit of stuttering round the Opera building up to the Jackie Stewart bridge, but at least it is driveable. Thank you very much for your help

Hi ReneLotus !

Thanks for your posting about Montjuich folder. I am glad i can help out.

All the best for your offline-challenge.

Greetings

Achim

P.S.: For online-races beware off instability. The trackmaker-group will improve the complete track to sort out the implemented errors for mass-discos at online-races.

new pb at 1.05.5 the other day. Quite pleased, but there is certainly time to gain. I'm very careful at the entry to the carousel.

I simply can't go fast at all. I'm starting to think maybe it's my gear ratios...I can only do things in the 1:08 range, and I'm starting to wonder how I ever did a 1:06. How do the 1:04s and the 1:03s go so much faster than me? Where do they find those extra 4 seconds that I can't?

I got the same problem. I drove once a 1.06.97.. and now i can't drive under 1.08.
Maybe the brake balance...

The world record is somewhere in the 1.00....
