Better from this angle.

But from Nononsensecapeesh's front-down angle, not a fan of the bonnet, the air intake, and the curving down angle of the front wheel arches also offends me from that angle :P. And the colour scheme doesn't help one bit.
Not to mention the car was a complete flop in the 1997 FIA GT Championship.

Alfa Romeo Tipo 177 F1 prototype.
I want to like it but... ugh

Something about the blend of curves and straight lines is not working for me at all

I know and the Alfa Romeo T177 looks like an attempt to build a snowplough of their own.

Indeed, the one off 312 B3 (chassis #009) ‘Spazzaneve (Snowplough)’. Ironically it never raced in period although visited many circuits in an extensive testing programme before being shelved. Now privately owned and raced in selected 'primo' events in the Historic F1 1966 to 1972 3.0-litre engine class.

Whilst the car never raced what they (Forghieri) discovered about its weaknesses and faults from the testing resulted in the development of the altogether more successful 312 B3-74 that Regga came close to winning the 1974 title with. (and Lauda won the Spanish and Dutch GPs with.)
