Starting lineup for the race this morning. Danica Patrick seems to be right at the top. I hope she has a good run so that finally all the critics will shut up. Also Kosuke Matsuura has been showing a good pace so far, maybe he can carry the momentum into the race. You can watch the race live via the IRL site.

She's been 'impressive' at least. Marco's qualifying pace better shape up soon.

No matter who wins, whoever watches that race will get sick of the word "Danica"

I'm glad Hornish (and Marco) are still running this series. Otherwise I'd have no interest any open-wheel series, period... :sorrow:

There goes Matsuura. He spins around at the start and backs it hard into the T2 wall.

Yellow waves at lap 32. There's debris in T4. Helio has been running away with it so far. Meira went some laps down, I guess his back up car hasn't got the right setup on.

Green flag pitstops just before halfway. Carpenter loses his left rear tyre when he tries to leave the pit.

100 laps completed, 100 to go. Penske fading back while AGR is moving up. I don't think Wheldon can be beaten today.

1. Dan Wheldon
2. Tony Kanaan
3. Dario Franchitti
4. Helio Castroneves
5. Sam Hornish

Wheldon is having radio communications issues.

Danica went into the marbles and almost drove into the wall.
