I'm looking for your opinion on them. They look a lot more like DTM cars now to me. I don't care how ugly they are, as long as they provide excellent racing. They are set to debut @ the .5 mile Bristol Motor Speedway.

Is this an updated Chevy Monte Carlo then? I can't honestly see much of a difference.

I believe they're going to put this design on all 4 cars: Cehvy, Ford, Dodge, and Toyota.

It looks more like a piece of shit than a proper car.
Isnt Chevrolet going to use the Impala SS, or the Impale ass?

The difference being, you can actually tell, from a distance, which car is made from which manufacturer, in DTM. Those COTs are just carbon copies, across all of the manufacturers. A complete joke. Now, if Ford offered the Fusion with a V8 and RWD for the street, that'd be a whole different story.

I want to know what those damn NASCAR officials have been smoking.....And where can I get some? .........Not really, Ouch that car looks like crap........I miss the good old stock car days with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhart Sr. ...............NASCAR hasnt been the same since the mid 1990's. And the change hasnt been for the better.

By the way In my ten years in the USA I went to alot of NASCAR races and enjoyed them alot too...........These days there sure as hell isnt anything Stock about a Stock Car.........The enjoyment for me has long since taken its turn four and chequered Flag. :sorrow:

I thought they were going to bring the Chevy Impala in?
Doesn't really mather...

I like these cars tbh but the whole idea of actually racing this in NASCAR is stupid. It's no Stockcar (wasn't that 'stockcar' allready but this is just waaaay worse), it will cost a heap to start with (ruining small teams and bringing back the field filler problem like 2004) and in NASCAR you could fix the car fairly quick so you don't loose a lap but with the COT that is no option at all.

So a big NONO to NASCAR for the COT!

I cant see how it looks like a DTM.... DTM cars look hot I reckon, and are real race cars with latest technologies.

That picture is just SAD. Maybe there is a more flattering pic somewhere.

It doesn't matter whatsoever. All cars MUST fit "the template". The only thing that sets the cars apart are the decals and engines. Course, the engines are based on the Ford 351C, so there you go.

What I don't undertstand is knowing that the front and rear wing are so fragile, how will u repair them after an accident? I think there will be a lot more DNF's and finishing on the lead lap will be a more grateful thing.
