I FINALLY found RealFeel settings that work:
Code: Select all
RealFeelIsOn=True
ConsoleEnabled=False
ConsoleRepeatDelay=0.100000
SpeechEnabled=True
KeyRepeatDelay=0.100000
SteerForceInputMax=65535.000000
MinSpeed=16.000000
DefaultMaxForceAtSteeringRack=1500.000000
DefaultSteeringDamper=11500.000000
DefaultFrontGripEffect=1.000000
DefaultSmoothingLevel=0
VehicleDelimiterSize=64
DefaultKf=65535.000000
DefaultKs=7.000000
DefaultA=3.500000
DefaultKr=10.800000
The most important in this is the DefaultFrontGripEffect. Use very strong Force Feedback. Set this to 1.0000. Every time you lock the front tyres, or slide the front tyres too much, the steering wheel will go light. This is how it feels in real life also
This should shave a lot of time off my laps.
These two are also critical in the Controller.ini:
Steer Ratio Speed="0.00000" // Speed at which low speed steering lock override ends (for pit navigation, units are meters/sec, 0.0 to disable)
Speed Sensitive Steering="0.00000"
If you use a 900 degree wheel, these must be set to 0.0. Otherwise, your movements on the steering wheel will not match those on the screen. They're kind of like driving aids. Since turning them off, driving the F1 car has felt much more realistic and natural.
