I happened to have a few minutes here, so I thought I would post the GTP guess times on a Friday for a change. This week's entries are below:

1:32.988. Edited 4 minutes before P1 started according to the F1.com P1 countdown.

Technically 3 minutes, but it still counts! Good timing on that!

AH well that might be I checked I was in time before posting, so probably lost a minute posting it and double checking it was what I wanted before clicking submit..

Phew. I didn’t read the original post and I forgot we have another qualifying so I spent the whole day in the office thinking about how I must have messed up my guess

Wish I had missed the edit deadline now. 5 minutes to go I decided to change my time and did it with 3 minutes to go.

I was about a second out. Do you think I could appeal and claim I was robbed just because I made a typo? It might work

This weeks winner is @MonteCristo with a time 0.527 seconds away from Max Verstappen's pole time of 1:33.660. We were all off by a margin, but MonteCristo was only off by the smallest margin! Great job!

In the Accuracy Championship, Picci pulls out the gap on 2nd place EB (and MonteCristo jumps up to 3rd!).

Happy to have got a third here. I wanted to go with a reasonably slow guess and based it on the difference in the Bahrain qualy between 2019 and 2024 but I didn’t think the track surface would remain so green!

Same strategy here. I should have left my original guess in but did a late edit when I read that the track surface treatment might offer more grip rather than the loss of grip I had been working on. That and in particular the fact that the parc ferme rules for sprint rounds had changed this year, allowing unlimited set up changes after sprint qualy.

Another sprint round for Miami I think.
