Not many full-time names announced yet with some teams moving on from current manufacturers (like Project 1 parting ways with BMW). Audi factory support is gone in wake of the F1 future but Abt Sportsline will keep going with Kelvin van der Linde and Ricardo Feller.

Lamborghini revealed the most details yet. Christian Engelhart is back with both the brand and the Grasser team (he drove for them in then-Blancpain Series for three seasons before) and Nicki Thiim has been announced as Mirko Bortolotti's teammate at SSR Performance.

Thomas Preining will defend the title driving for Manthey Porsche again and Honda has joined the series with the NSX allthough let's see how that one goes since there have been some ownership changes behind the actual entry.

Autosport run a story that Project 1 could become a McLaren team with Aston Martin also looking to come back to the series (they had one & done campaign in 2019).
