Bottom post of the previous page:

Russell crashes for Mercedes in Yas Test.... season ending for George.

After completing 58 laps, the GP distance, George suffered 'a component failure' on his W14, and hit the barriers at Turn 6. It seems the car wasnt too badly damaged but the reason for the as yet unidentified component failed is under investigation..

He was uninjured as the car was recovered back to the pits, with Frederik Vesti continuing on in the concurrent young driver test.

Elsewhere on a relatively quiet day of testing, F2 champion Theo Pourchaire suffered a slow start with problems on his Alfa Romeo, but continued on and has reached 60 laps.

As shown in the graphic earlier Carlos Sainz topping the morning session for Ferrari from Sergio Perez.

Things were delayed at the start.... delayed by 25 minutes due to the Medical Helicopter not showing up in time for a 9am green flag, while a water leak under the W Hotel bridge at Turns 13/14 resulted in a further 24-minute stoppage.

Ocon goes fastest as sunset arrived and the track cooled

It seems the morning times remained at the top of the Timesheets and the time Sainz set in the morning was fastest until sunset arrived and everything cooled down a bit.

At that point Ocon set a 1m24.393s after 110 laps, followed by McLaren's reserve driver Pato O'Ward in second Mercedes junior and F2 runner-up Frederik Vesti lowered his time to just 0.017s behind O’Ward within the final minutes of the day to be third quickest on the day, and with both rookies clocking over 100 laps apiece. Sergio further demoted Sainz to fifth in the cooler evening conditions.

Haas' Pietro Fittipaldi was the most productive driver of the day with 130 laps, while the test day also gave Argentina's Franco Colapinto his F1 debut with half a day in the Williams.....Other rookies notched that 100 laps of Yas Marina to up their F1 seat time, were Jack Doohan, Robert Shwartzman, Felipe Drugovich, Jake Dennis and Oliver Bearman.

Easier summary of times and laps to read than the screenshot above:
