Another livery for SVG

SVG will run Race 3 of the season with primary backing from Focused Health on the #97 Chevrolet Camaro, as part of Trackhouse Racing's rolling sponsorship programme on Shane's car.

He is currently ninth in the Xfinity Series standings after finishing third in a fuel race last time out at Atlanta Motor Speedway, in a car running with the branding of regular sponsor WeatherTech.

Not sure if this is an ongoing discussion or new. (I know this report is new) but it came from Marshall Pruett who I normally think of as kosher reporting..... It reads like it has long been a rumour but now has shifted up a couple of gears

Honda to NASCAR rumors heat up after latest nugget in 2024
NASCAR has been looking to add a fourth manufacturer alongside Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota for several years but hasn’t reached the finish line yet. The sport has been in talks with Dodge and Honda in the past, but nothing has come from it. However, one reporter suggests that NASCAR might be closing in on a fourth manufacturer for the Cup Series.

On his latest podcast, The Week In IndyCar, Marshall Pruett dropped an interesting nugget about Honda, one of the NTT IndyCar Series’ manufacturers. However, it didn’t relate to IndyCar. This was strictly about NASCAR.

‘”If you’re a Honda fan and you like NASCAR, you’re probably going to be really happy here in the future,” Pruett said.

That is a massive quote from Pruett as NASCAR continues to chase Honda. This seems to suggest that Honda could look to join NASCAR in the next couple of years. The sport is on a major rise following several great decisions and it could be paying off in a significant way. However, if Honda joins NASCAR, it would be a big blow to IndyCar.

Well, there are rumors SHR are leaving Ford at the end of the year, which isn't surprising given how bad their cars have been over the past 1-2 years, could be a well established team for Honda to start with.
