Whincup, now out of the car confirmed it is a tyre rce and they rubber is dictating the stint length. Mind you they were lapping in the 9s with 25 lap old rubber.
The 888 car at least gets one of his dropped laps back with the SC.. Think he lost 2 when the gear lever mount broke.

Reynolds gets a pit lane penalty for an SC breach. That will make a mess of his day. Massive penalty for a minor crime I think. You can take a car out and get only 5 seconds.

The Reynols penalty seems to be that Reynolds passed Feeney who had just exited the pits under SC. I guess he was over the SC line. Huge penalty to get a drive through for that. Hung for stealing a loaf of bread..
