Percat gets Waters. Its all nose to tail behind Feeney in 2ndback to Waters 7th.

Feeney might be trying to save some rubber for a 5 point FL attempt as he is a second back from Brown with a small gap back to Frosty. Brown has FL at the moment.

Wait.... Feeney must have an issue as he is is now dropped to 4th. Replays showed he had a lock up going into the final turns and both Frosty and Payne snapped him up.

For some reason it will be time certain as lap 16 finisshes and they re showing final lap. So it will be a 17lap lap not 19.

I think they had to catch up from time lost starting the race after a late red in F3 qualy.

Brown wins from. Frosty and Payne. Feeney fourth from Davison, Percat, Waters, JLB, Hazelwood and Slade

Brown got FL as well so will retake the Championship lead.

11-24 was Reynolds, Wood, Stanaway, Heimgartner, Fullwood, Golding, Randle, Mostert, Evans, Love, Hill, Jones and Courtney. ADP a DNF.

Who would have thought Frosty would be back on the podium with a 2nd.

Matt Payne finished with a broken wheel which he thinks happened early in the race. A big chunk of wheel missing !

In the Championship as said Brown leads from Feeney but surprised to see Mostert still holds 3rd albeit now over 80 points off Brown.

My stream was lagging two laps behind real time but live timing was running on cue. Rare mistake from Feeney that cost him two places but it's good for the championship. Mostert with a shocking no-show after that early rubbing. Payne outperforming the odds again.

Payne and Mostert split remaining AGP Supercars pole positions

Qualifying for the final two races of the weekend has just been held at a much cooler Albert Park..... It will warm up later but the V8SC were out on track first thing at 9:00am this morning Matt Payne continued his good weekend with Pole for the 3rd race and Mostert did the job for the 4th race tomorrow.

Both races will start with the same 3 Ford drivers filling positions 1-2-3.

And now the V8s are getting ready for their race. A shorter one todat, just 14 laps I think. Also a shorter time certain finish distance / time, but being the last event of the day I doubt they will be so strict on the time certain finish. Plus it will start on time.

Temperatures are getting cooler so tyre wear should be a problem. A Ford 1-2-3 on the grid, with Matty Payne on pole in the Penrite Grove car, so with a short race there might be half a chance of a non T8 1-2.

They are already on the grid so it will be a normal type start. Just a warm up lap from here and then a race start.
