Good job from Golding who set a 1:20.144. Hazlewood and then Heimgartner were next and they couldnt match it so Brodie is next up and should be able to top those that have run. Purple in S1 and S2 and again in S3 so ends up top with a 19.543 to go top with 6 others to run. Mostert next out.

Mostrt went purple purpl but lost time in the last sector to slot in behind Brodie.

Randle next out and he is slightly slower in S1 and 2. He slots in between Mostert and Golding so its Brodie Mostert Randle Golding Hazlewood and Heimgartner, with Feeney on track now.

He slots into 3rd with Reynolds Waters and Payne to go.

Reynolds gets a kerb strike so he drops to 10th.

Water on his lap but he is shy of Brodie in S1 and 2, but he slots in between Brodie and Mostert.

Just Matt Payne to go. Can he match Brodies great lap?

In th meantime we have the final race and Championship deciding Super 2 race between Best and Allen about to start. Kai Allen leads Zak Best by 33 points with one race left

Kai Allen turned a 30-point deficit into a 33-point lead in Race 1, with series leader Zak Best penalised over a clash with Nash Morris.

Best crossed the line fourth, but was relegated to 13th after he was hit with a 15-second time penalty.

Allen can finish at least fourth to clinch the 2023 title

Best starts 2nd with Kai Allen starts 4th

Zak naild the start and leads the race but Wood gets him back later in the lap. Allen runs 4th.

Advantage Allen. He just needs to stay 4th to take the title.

We will know in just under 30 minutes time what the outcome is.

Ryan Wood has cleared off and leads Best by just under 3 seconds. Bates 3rd and Allen still in that all important 4th place.

It got a bit dramatic in the final lap or two as Kai Allen lost a spot to his Egglestone Motorsport team mate Cooper Murray, in the end , Allen crossing the line 5th..... however with Best finishing 2nd to a dominant Ryan Wood Kai Allen's 5th place gave him the 2023 Super 2 series by just 6 points over Best.

Congrats to Kai Allen.

Main race hhas just started and Payne gets th jump into T1. A cleaner start than yesterday and they gt round lap 1 without much drama.
