The forum keeps logging me out

Nothing: after posting a lot of stuff in other threads, I still get immediately logged out in that thread.
Actually, the forum showed this error:

"The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again."

And then it logged me out.

I don't really know what to do. I can't post anything in that thread, and it's a shame, since I have something new.

Funny, this! Just after reading above post, and checking which thread he meant in in the link, I used to "back" function of the browser, and the forum logged me out! Hasn't happened before, I hasten to add.

Please do clear your cookies/browser internet history first.

The next step is for me to delete the contents of the SESSIONS table, which will log every single user out of the forum.

I found a possible culprit. I changed a setting in the ACP. Let me know if it helps.

Quick question, are you logging in from more than one device? Or do you use a VPN while browsing the forum?

Second question, have you tried clearing all your cookies? Or using another browser?

Well, sometimes I use two devices, yes, but never at the same time.
No VPN, and yes, I always delete all the cookies, etc.
I haven't tried with a different browser, though.

I just changed a cookie-related setting. Let me know if there is any difference. If not, I will move onto the next possible fix.

In the meantime please do try another browser.

I now got the same problems. Can't log in with firefox. But can with Opera. In firefox it says "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again."

Only on desktop. On smartphone i have no problems, while using FF.

Having the exact same problem, having to use safari on my tablet at the moment.

Lol..... I cant login on my (Apple) laptop with Chrome this evening (5pm now), but no problems this morning. I also get "The submitted form was invalid." Usually I dont have to login (I have the "Remember me" box ticked on the laptop with Chrome. Now it goes to the login page if I want to post.

However FireFox works fine now on the same laptop (I had to use that now to log in and write this)

On my iPhone it works fine (on Chrome) and an hour ago it worked with Chrome on my Windows PC. Have not tried PC since.

All good. Followed instructions and though Im on FF now I just checked Chrome and that now works and logs in no probs. Thats on the laptop that was causing issues for me

Thanks @PTRACER for the fix.

Usually I just click the delete cookies button on the index page here if I have any issues logging in or getting logged out, but didnt work today. However doing as you mentioned, the full delete cookies and other site data, in Chrome settings worked fine.

I guess the fact that with me Chrome, my usual browser had problems yet my back up FF worked fine (opposite to Erwin) was the fact that Chrome being more used by me was full of more cookie shit than my FF which I only installed last week when I had the speed probs with Chrome here.

Anyway whatever the reason..... all good now. Thanks.
