I've had issues logging in too. Managed to log in after 3 tries today. Failed after four tries last night
Is it okay now?

I've just discovered a thing:
I have problems if I log in and browse the forum using the "anonymous mode" in Firefox (it might be the same in Chrome, I have to try).
If I view the forum normally, I get logged out very seldom, and I can post in pretty much every thread without any problems.
I think it's because of the fact that the "anonymous mode" in Firefox doesn't save the cookies, etc.
Seriously? lol. Please don't tell me that was the problem all along.
Anonymous Mode does not save cookies and without them, you'll definitely be logged out.

Well, sometimes I get logged out when I'm in the "normal" mode as well.
But now is going quite well.
Until a month ago, I used to browse the forum using the "anonymous mode", but everything was fine and I wasn't having problems...
I just noticed that Firefox (which I use on my laptop) is saying that the site's not secure, but Chrome (which I use on my main PC and phone) is saying that the site is secure. I also tried Microsoft Edge and it's saying it's insecure as well, so I don't know what's going on there.

Hmmm, on reading that out of curiosity I just tried to login via my (Macbook Pro) Laptop on Firefox (I have version 109.0 which Im sure is the latest version)and got no warnings or issues. Chrome (which I normally use. on laptop and PC) has no warnings on either device
I also use Chrome on my iPhone and thats showing normal.

I get the 'not secure' notice on Firefox when I log in too, I don't get it on Edge though, so that's curious
Apparently you can be logged in on two different browsers at the same time, I didn't know you could do that either.

Maybe your link misses the https://

Yup this is it. If you connect via https://www.the-fastlane.co.uk then you not see the message. Actually it really doesn't matter for a site like this since there is no exchange of personal information and little chance of being hacked.

Just FYI, I have now forced SSL for all domains. So this problem should be resolved.
it seems, the forum keeps logging me out on the first action: I'm logging in, trying to (e. g.) access a certain subforum/thread and I'm instantly logged out again.
This, as far as I can tell, started happning only very recently. I'm using Firefox 110.0. Deleting the cookies doesn't solve the issue.
The same problem does not occur when using Microsoft Edge.
The forum has been running well lately, but it's now starting to log me out every time I leave the page. Is there something new going on? Normally with bookmarked pages where I accept cookies, I stay logged in. This started on Monday 10/30.
All I can suggest is that you clear your cookies/history and make sure your bookmarks are pointing towards the HTTPS version and not HTTP version of the site. Trying to access via HTTP will log you out.
