Looking at this angle it looks like oil somehow found its way inside the cockpit and spilled all over him, you can see part of it on his leg as well.Everso Biggyballies wrote: ↑1 year ago Unless it got ripped off in his exit. I added a second video from a different angle to my previous post showing better his exit.
However it happened its definitely missing. In the update on his condition he (unsurprisingly) mentions burns to his right arm.

Alex Bowman will miss at least the next three races as he continues to recover from his concussion.
In a statement, Hendrick Motorsports said:
After missing his second consecutive race last weekend, Bowman was officially eliminated from the 2022 series playoffs.Bowman was evaluated Wednesday morning in Pittsburgh, Pa., by Dr. Michael “Micky” Collins, clinical director of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Sports Medicine Concussion Program.
“We have a tremendous amount of respect for the entire staff at UPMC,” said Jeff Andrews, president and general manager of Hendrick Motorsports. “Our priority continues to be Alex’s recovery and long-term health, and we will follow the plan that Dr. Collins and his team recommend.
“We’re not looking past the next three races and will evaluate plans for the season finale (at Phoenix Raceway) as the event approaches.”
Noah Gragson will continue to fill in for Bowman in Hendrick’s No. 48 Chevrolet this weekend at Las Vegas, Oct. 23 at Homestead, Fla., and Oct. 30 at Martinsville, Va.

Expecting an announcement sometime within the next 7 days that Kurt Busch will officially be calling it quits and as a result Tyler Reddick's contract will be bought out by 23XI, meaning he will move to that team a year earlier then planned.

Never been a huge fan of Kurt (or his brother), but it's disgusting that his career had to end, more or less, because of a horribly flawed car on NASCAR's part.

The radio crew said during Cup series practice earlier today that the projected tire life is only 30 laps for tomorrow's race. Not a good sign.
