DoubleFart wrote: 1 year ago Where does it say they're suing Palou? It says they're taking legal action, but the statement is all positive about him, but negative about McLaren. Sounds more like they're going after McLaren for initiating the contract to me
I stole the wording from the racer.com article above. There's been a court case filed in Indiana by CGR against Palou, so they're most definitely dragging him to court.

Schedule looking to expand for 2024 including a possible stop in Mexico. At the same time, Fundidora Park at Monterrey where CART raced in the early 2000's is said to open it's doors again. If so, great, I liked that place. ---> https://www.bullfrag.com/indycar-monter ... nd-nascar/

Confirm that.

Suffered a heart attack in May...... Rahal underwent triple bypass surgery on June 6.

Scotty Mac called Graham Rahal's bed the workbench.

I haven't heard that joke for many years (since the days of Warwick Capper). And it still kills.

Oh, and "Choke up on that, hun". Lmfao.

This would not go in F1, haha.

When is a drink bottle not a drink bottle.....

Andretti fined, Rossi penalised after Indianapolis GP win

Andretti Autosport has been fined, while Alexander Rossi was docked points, after taking victory in the Indianapolis Grand Prix on Saturday.

In post-race inspection, it was found that a drink bottle and its contents were used as car ballast, which is not permitted under the regulations.

IndyCar announced a post-event infraction, fining the team USD 25,000, while Rossi was docked 20 points.
“From a sporting perspective, the car met minimum requirements,” IndyCar President Jay Frye said.

“From a technical perspective, the way they achieved the weight is not allowed.

“To meet minimum weight, the drink bottle and its contents were used as car ballast, which is not permitted and why the team is being fined and penalized.”

It seems now Felix actually has no deal with McLaren beyond end 2022
In one of the more remarkable twists in a silly season that’s been filled with bombshell revelations, multiple sources have confirmed to RACER that Arrow McLaren SP’s Felix Rosenqvist is not under contract with McLaren Racing beyond 2022.

Reached last week by RACER to ask if Rosenqvist was under contract for 2023, a McLaren Racing spokesperson declined to comment.

Only reasoning as I see it that his contract was tied together with the Palou situation and when a certain date had passed without Felix knowing where to drive in 2023, an out-clause was activated, alternatively, the terms changed.
