As an aside, I feel sorry for Robin. He's got his own big health problems, and he's seeing all these folks he's known for so long passing away the last couple of years. Can't be easy to write these.

Did not know Bobby and Mario made their F1 debuts in the same race. Like Mr Bishop points out, the BRM was hardly a vehicle to showcase one's talents, and even the late, great Pedro Rodriguez only managed to qualify the other BRM 11th in this race. A shame that this was Bobby's first and last F1 start. I feel he could've been quite good, if not excellent. He had raw talent on or above par with Mario and mechanical know-how as good as the likes of Dan Gurney. But it was a different time. When the lure of F1 wasn't that strong and seemed like more top drivers from F1 actually came over to the states than the other way around, lured by the prize money offered at the Indy 500, Can-Am, etc.
