My understanding is that winnow was indeed meant to refer to separating the wheat from the chaff. This whole Mission Winnow BS is all meant to be PMI's way of telling the world they are looking at new means of doing things (hence winnow). It doesn't say what such new things are though. Then I thought it meant "minnow" = small fish. As in: We give space to anyone, even the minnows!
At long last I realized: it means WIN NOW.

The Daily Express has to be one of the worst publications on the planet.....m I read some of the other F1 related garbage they are reporting about and it is such rubbish., so factually incorrect its an absolute joke. There is an article there about Stroll Senior who is apparently having a go at Lewis by saying F1 is expensive.... the Express talks of Stroll's 2,1 Million Pound fortune, it talks of his buying the Aston Martin Road car company (he bought a c 15% shareholding but is not the major shareholder... he is however Chairman). The whole article is riddled with errors. And clickbait.
