Bottom post of the previous page:

Does anybody know if there's a balance of performance between the cars? I mean the M26 should be faster than the others like Embassy, Surtees, Alesi's Ferrari etc...

the only balance of performance is what they have behind the wheel, as it should be!

Some are running some extra ballast there, obviously

Ahh back then the cars were so agile. Love the manual H pattern shift!! At 1:25 Jean missed a gear

Yeah its all good to watch, and its great to hear proper F1 engines with 12 cylinders rather than the wet fart sound we have to put up with now.

The camera seems to be in the airscope. If it's there, it should not be good for the engine :rockedover:

At the end of the day, they can be fixed (unlike carbon tubs!).

So it's nice to see them being driven as intended, rather than parade laps.

Live stream for all of today's races will be 'going live' in about 20 minutes time.

Yes that's true. Are these Ferraris actually officially being run by Ferrari? If so, they should have plenty of parts and the means to manufacture new ones. I doubt they will have spares at Monaco, but I hope so...

Yeah I thought the Lotus would offer more challenge, but a very slow start left him in traffic, and although he got through the traffic not enough laps to catch the Maser

Shame for Patrick Blakeney Edwards in his Frazer Nash in the Pre-war race., He is a super quick driver in whatever of his Frazer Nashes he drives was forced to stop on track with I believe a gear selector problem. Anyway, he was leading with ease having qualified 2 seconds a lap faster than 2nd place, but it all came to nothing.
