I'm very poor, usually at least 1 sec off my son's times , but I'll have a go.
I notice that setting a f2 championship to 5 laps only works for the sprint, you have to slog through 32 laps or so first
Another observation is that the ai is massively worse on f2 than F1. I can beat 80% on a controller. Is that because you have more time to make your reactions in f2? Surely not the full explanation
And Pedro Piquet looks err, nothing much like pedro piquet
But to be fair, the helmet looks terrific

Have you found any difference in the relative performance of the F2 cars?

I have done time trials only really.
What I notice is that downshifts are sometimes not so easy, and take some time to be executed. Perhaps controller specific that.
I am Nikita Mazepin.

I had to uninstall it recently but let's see when I get around to installing it again.

1:31. Something.
As I say, I can't rotate the car and I'm losing so much time in the final sector - 1.6 seconds to be precise!
The frustrating thing is I'm actually 0.3 up in the first sector, then drop 0.8 and 1.6 in the other two sectors.

It has very little downforce, so turning is indeed difficult.
I imagine @PTRACER would love these cars: I think driving wise, they are probably at the level of end of 90s F1 cars.

1.30.810 in 233rd place currently after about ten attempts
I reckon I could trim .5 off but probably not much more. May try with higher downforce, that's just on the middle custom setting

Perhaps that's why they rebranded it to F2

Haven't found the chance to try again, and I can't say i'm that enthusiastic to try those F2 cars again!
I find it hard to believe they're as poor as they are for front grip.

1:30.2 now, and I did a 1:29.8 that was apparently out if track limits, so I know I can get in the 29's at least

I improved to 1.30.404
My sons struggling at the moment lol. He's only managed 1.30.484 and getting a little frustrated by track limits
