Repaved and redesigned in 2017, Texas Motor Speedway features 20 degrees of banking in Turns 1 and 2 and 24 degrees of banking in Turns 3 and 4 and the wide (minimum 60 feet) racing surface has produced many memorable moments since the series began racing at the 1.5-mile oval in 1997.

Spoke with Felix Rosenqvist a bit yesterday, he seems much more confident ahead of an oval more than never but also realises that it is a good idea for the teams to run very conservative since it is a 1 day event. If you crash in practice, you are out.

Yeah, God I hope they don't tear up equipment all over the place like in the past at Texas. That place simply has magnets in the walls.

This weekend's entry list.

Four rookies, none of who has never driver an Indycar on an oval before. It's also Harvey's first visit to Texas.

Also 7/11 returns to sponsor the #14. That's sweet.

There will be a 35 lap limit on tyre stints due to the Covid pandemic. The reason apparently is that we're not fully stocked up on new tyres and a lot of them were made for the 2019 event.

Lord help us, this can get ugly.

Looks like Fox Sports in Australia is trying to show it... But the times look a bit messed up for the race.
