Bottom post of the previous page:

What AI are you on in F1 20220 @Mister B ?

Regarding NASCAR Heat 5. For a start, do you own NASCAR Heat 4?
I understand the difference is only minimal, but there was enough reason for me to get it
(eg. possibility of custom season, a larger base of online players, etc)

I'll be honest: I had nothing but fun whenever I played.
It is obviously not hard core simulation, but I wouldn't call it Arcade either.
The only downside is it doesn't feature the Daytona road course, and unfortunately there is nothing which points to an imminent release of it.

Additional questions:
- do you play with a controller or a wheel?
- where are you based? (country)

For F1 I'm running 'my team' and I thought 88 was a good AI strenght but now I'm 3 races in and I've won them all (50% lenght).
My R&D is really behind so didn't think I had to up it further, the races are intense so 88 is good for now.

Haven't owned a NASCAR game on PS since PS1 so... :D
I use only wheel/pedals for racing games, can't stand the feel of a controller while racing.
As I'm from Belgium, not a huge amount of NASCAR fans here ;-).

lol, well, I'm from Belgium as well.

You can order NASCAR Heat 5 from www.nedgame.nl, just like I did.
It goes at just under € 40.- at this time.

There was a YouTube video which helped me set up the controller for the best possible feel.
It dealt with the wheel set-up too. Will check later tonight and post it in this thread.

You might be doubting the purchase now, but just imagine the sorrow you will feel not having it when the Speed Weeks start in just a few days time
Besides, we can race together if you'd like.

I have already enjoyed, and continue to enjoy, many features of the game (eg. character customisation, customisation of car livery, etc.).

The video I mentioned.
These settings gave me immense satisfaction (controller).

Thanks for the info.
I'll take a look at it and who knows, maybe I'll get the game.

Ow and nice to meet a fellow countryman who likes NASCAR ;-).
A rare breed lol
