I think most of them want to get themselves ready for the real thing, Byron said he’s not running because he wants some more family time before the crammed in races, so that’s probably a factor for some too.

I once saw the setup folder of one of the mid-rank NPAS team folders and there were like 30+ variants of one setup. Although, I think these real racer races run fixed setups? In that case, I don't know why they are practising eight hours a day. That much grinding is enough to make you go mad.

Yeah iirc both series were running fixed setups.

Indycar was certainly a fixed setup. They tweaked it over time (gear settings) during practice at Indy.

Well, that was some great racing from the Legends at Zandvoort!

And I'm overjoyed because Emerson Fittipaldi ran in the top 10 for pretty much the whole of Race 2 and was running 8th until Liuzzi and then Solberg passed him in the final two laps. Pirro won this time. Not the sort of guy I would expect to be good in sim racing at all.

This is amazing!!! Button and Alonso swapping places for the lead. Mario Andretti is down in 25th but he is right underneath Alonso and Button and keeping up with them, challenging them even!
