Interesting that the origins of both cars were an Adrian Reynard project being prepared for a 1992 entry into F1. Instead two of it's senior personnel took ownership of the IP and made use of it with the Benetton team for it's 1992 car, then updating for the 1993 and 1994 seasons:
Benetton
B192 - 1992
B193 - 1993
B194 - 1994
Pacific
PR01 - 1994
As far as I know, the 1995 PR02 was also based on the same chassis design with updated aerodynamics, etc...

Interesting view.
The Aero is a bit different around the back of the Bennetton, but they are amazingly similar cars. Just shows what some good money for set up development, top driver contracts, and Aero development can do! (And the Engine contract also - just finished the video.)
Even funnier still is that the 1995 Pacific entry appears to be an Aero copy of the 1993 Williams.

They are very close from the side, but what about the front? The Pacific absolutely sucked. (Then again, didn't some of the Indycars in 1981/2 very ineffectively copy the FW07 Williams?)

Pacific is my favourite "worst" F1 Team. I loved the livery and curious sponsors (Icelandic Vodka).
I was 10 years old in 1994 and I'd love to see today 28 cars (or more!) on the grid, even if non competitive at all like the Pacific.

The great thing is, you could probably pay to drive one, since I imagine the chassis's are now used for F1 driving experiences.mariosapegno wrote: ↑4 years ago Pacific is my favourite "worst" F1 Team. I loved the livery and curious sponsors (Icelandic Vodka).
