Yes, and what made me go was --- older than Niki Lauda in 1984, who for obvious reason always looked much older (to me) than he was.
And I was surprised not to find Denis Hulme, who also looked much older in 1967 than he actually was... 31 years old.
Can't see the image...but how can this man be only 31?
Typically, in the fifties and sixties still, men grew up up faster than today. I'm sure Denny had to work for a living at 15 already, like most of his contemporaries, and probably a house (most likely built by himself) and family at 20. Many of them didn't live much past 65, too, even in less dangerous professions. Of course, you can't compare that to a 30yo of today, who's just left Hotel Mama to strike out on his own, but give that kid 15 years of a life with work and family, and he'll be and look about as mature as Denny was in '67.

I've long thought that drivers back in the day looked far older than they were. Black and white photos don't help, but as Michael said, many had seen and done things (eg: European drivers in their 30s in the 1960s had been exposed to war to greater or lesser extents, and post-war recovery wasn't a cakewalk) that today's pampered youth (myself included) usually haven't had to do.
But yes, in that photo Denny looks closer to 50 than 30.

Surprisingly, on the same sort of theme, both Rodriguez and Amon are still both in the 10 youngest ever drivers to take to an F1 grid.... throw Thackwell's name in there as well. I think Mike, who was born in NZ but grew up in Perth (Aus) left home and travelled at age 16 to the UK with nothing other than a letter of intro from his Dad to a guy in England the Dad knew, who manufactured Formula Fords and ran a race driving school at Thruxton. Two and a half years later Mike was a big name in F2, having gone through FF and F3, and by then with a Tyrrell F1 testing deal in his pocket.
