Can't say I'm looking forward to MGS3 as much as GT4 - the whole blend into anything magically sort of kills off the whole stealthy realism thing for me.

I doubt that'll happen in MGS3, it's set during the 1960s...

Before Snake.

Have a read through the previews and watch some of the vids, looks like Snake to me ;)

...and he does that damn blend into the trees thing. As good as that is in concept, I find it hard to believe you wouldn't be seen.

It looks like Snake, because it's Big Boss, the person of whom Snake is a clone ;).

I'm just hoping that MGS3 gameplay is more like MGS not MGS2. While it was great played once, since it isn't really a 'game', theres little insentive to play it again, unlike MGS which had to be one of the greatest games of all time. :)

I thought it was Big Boss. As Snake is roughly a genitic copy of his father (Big Boss) then he would look just like him. You can also see how one of his eyes is kinder blacked out... as if it was missing. In later years he may cover it, with a patch?

This is due to be released on February 25th 2005 in the UK, and sometime in March for the US (31st, I believe?!).

I got my hands on a copy of GT4 recently. I've gotta say that it's pretty good, in particular the cars it has. It's got some older ones, such as the 67' Nissan Skyline which is pretty neat to drive, as well as a 2022 Nike car. The circuits they've got is quite good too. The international tracks the game has too, is pretty good.

However, I don't like the way they've taken the tracks from GT3 & opened them up. By that I mean that they are'nt as tight as they were before. For example, the Seattle City circuit is quite open now. I liked it tight & twisty.

Overall, the games pretty good & an improvement Overall on GT3

Ugh, I despise that track. Dunno why, it just annoys me.
Almost all my 'arcade' driving was held at either Le Mans, Infineon Stock Car course, Opera Paris or the Nordschleife.

Opera Paris did my head in. Nordschleife was the ultimate GT4 experience, but I only ever played it with a control pad. I'd love to give it a go with my Logitech G25.

I'm with Jacob here. The circuits listed above have some tricky corners & are fun to drive.

Grand Valley is to easy & not a challenge.

Maybe it was the other Paris track. The one that isn't dark or wet

Did you ever notice, after you've been driving and after you've switched over to B-Spec mode because your leg goes numb, the computer drives like a total pussy? Even with "Push" and "Overtake" enabled.

Yes, very much so. I always found the computer driver crashed at the end of the Mulsanne straight at Le Mans on every lap.
