Yes, completely wrong. Until now, strangely, there were no photographs of that banking; just a drawing in a newspaper of that time. The version for GPL was never used like that... but still a good track to race
Here's some more on the different layouts:

The banking is still there! Well, sort of...
I was there in 2012 when the Paul-Greifzu-memorial was still there. Now it's inside the Paul-Greifzu-stadium in Dessau.
The Autobahn is absolutely straight there... I pass by that section when I drive from Leipzig to Berlin.
Now they have it much more accurate...

I guess I have to wait for the GPL version...
I'm quite impressed by the AC version! Simple track but somehow a lot of fun

If that
is the banked corner, then it's a much wider, faster corner than I expected!
(Keep this up, I've always been fascinated with post-war German motor racing
)

@sebbb
Not sure if this has any relevance to this thread. My German is none existent! Added because I saw the track and year plus similar cars pictured.
DESSAU 1952 IN FRONT START NUMBER 45 LATARIUS, BEHIND 104(?) PERDUSS(?)
WHO IS THE DRIVER IN THE MIDDLE?
(the racing car in the middle is #60 Fritz Bagge in a Sieper Fiat 1100, the eventual winner of the 1100 ccm class.)
