Dunno why but I thought more manufacturers would be entering in 2015.

It looks like a Chevy Cruze. Fingers crossed for Lada this season.

Macau has been dropped from the WTCC calendar, the final round will now be a night race in Qatar because the chief of the series says:
Who's going to tune in to watch a race at Qatar? Who? Not many."When you're in Macau, the slot we were given was 11am on Sunday - that's 5am in the UK.
"Who's watching TV at five o'clock in the morning? Who? Not many.

Hehehehe, what a cynical bunch of difficult to please buggers we collectively can be. Rightly so.

I probably would have done so...... had it been at Macau...... but for my timezone the combination of a relatively crap Qatar circuit at a less appealing time of day means I likely would not / wont bother. I will watch the bikes and GT3 events at Macau in preference to anything at Qatar any day.Metzo wrote:i do.Ian-S wrote:LOL who tunes in for WTC anywhere? Not many...

i don't mind qatar that much as a circuit, it's a lot better than abu dhabi or bahrain but nothing compared to macau. thankfully they will race vila real which is a bit like macau and not to mention the nordschleife.

I think I watched a few races last year, but other than the Argentine races I don't remember which. Other than that I watched some clips on Youtube.

I watched most of them albeit not all live.... but not so sure what I will do this year, as they always have a race 1 start time of c 3.00 am for me. Makes a torrent download or a Monday day time TV replay an attractive option. And with no Macau finale. Still, I am a great fan and follower of both Tom Coronel and Rickard Rydell, so who knows what will happen when it comes down to it..... Just realised, I think it is /might be this weekend that the season starts?
