Bottom post of the previous page:

edited the topic title, as WTCC is dead and there are more discussions on BTCC than anything else now. Or someone can just started a dedicated BTCC topic, feel free.

I see two time race winner in the BTCC, Tom Oliphant, who relocated to Wollongong in NSW last year, has inked a deal to run in TCR Australia for the next two years.

Full details in the Aus Racing (non Supercars) thread here: viewtopic.php?p=443637#p443637

Aron Taylor-Smith joins Andrew Watson at Power Maxed Racing for the 2023 British "Taxi Racing" Championship.

Which also confirms that Ash Hand won't be racing in this year's BTCC.

The long-serving Team Dynamics shall not be contesting the 2023 British Touring Car Championship.

This also means "Flash Gordon" Shedden won't be competing this year.

Interesting that TCR UK and the British Touring Car Championship are looking likely to have near-identical grid numbers this year.

Is that because BTCC numbers are declining and TCR UK are increasing or a combination of both. I dont follow the UK TC scene at all really. Got to draw the line somewhere, and it gets very little exposure or airplay here.

Probably a combination of the two. I don't follow TCR at all, regardless of what country it's in, just making an observation.
