The reason that the KFS hashtag has been removed is actually quite simple, and you're barking up the wrong tree.
The family are trying to distance Schumacher's health from the media, and the establishment of the keep fighting initiative/foundation is their preferred way to keep his memory alive without reminding the world of his current situation.
Therefore, they can relaunch in the future using #KeepFighting to honour him, without inviting questions from the media because it's strictly a charity sponsor.

That doesn't make sense at all (the explanation, not what you said), if they want to distance Michael's condion from the media then starting a charity thing called "keep fighting" to honour him isn't going to keep the media away or keep his memory alive without it forever being linked back to him.
Unless of course, they want to launch such a thing after his death.

Excuse my quickly fading brain today but why should they call a charity 'Keep Fighting' post mortem?

Kind of my point, the explanation doesn't make sense because whatever they do, the quote will always be linked to Michael.

The judgement was made based on the fact that he cannot walk now, and so definitely could not then. So, to continue the guessing game based on official statements, Gary Hartstein's (obviously very educated) opinion, and this court case, Michael is conscious and unable to walk.
Our sensationalist newspaper www.hln.be reports:
- Jean Todt is a family friend, who is still visiting Michael Schumacher on occasions
- Jean Todt says it is time to let Schumacher live his life in peace
- medical treatment of Michael costs €130.000 per week

Absolutely nothing new there that was not conveyed 3 years ago.
People should respect the family wishes and get their kicks watching highlights and memories of his illustrious career.
So what if it is costing millions per year to continue his treatment, if that is the families wish. The money is theirs to spend as they wish, they cant take it with them in the same way as it is Lawrence Stroll's money to spend on his sons career and future. If they hang on for the unlikely miracle to happen so be it. The money they all spend on their fantasies (for want of a better word) is a drop in the ocean compared to their bank balances, and in reality none of our business. They all, and their families, are never going to run out of cash.

I also read a similar article just a few days ago. Every quote i've read talks about "the family" being grateful for the support and friends hoping that Michael makes a recovery and so on. This tells me nothing about his health condition has really changed and he is not at all compos mentis.

yes, but no.
if they are insured for this (highly likely for a man with the wealth of Michael), the insurance pays (~ read: insurance premiums will be increased, so the others pay for his treatment).
I though his condition was as a result of medical negligence that the family decided not to peruse, the doctors were too busy arguing with each other over his treatment that they failed to notice what was actually wrong, I distinctly remember there being a report to this effect in a reasonably respectable publication.
She (Mrs Schumacher) has sold practically everything they own, so I wouldn't assume insurance pays for it, especially if said insurers wanted to peruse the hospital and the family said no, refusing to persuade a medical negligence claim would almost certainly nullify the policy.

@Ian-S I thought the medical negligence was purely in response to the Hospital's (lack of) care in protection of a Patient's clinical confidential records.... IIRC there was a court action raised over the theft / copying of Schumacher's records by a Hospital employee who was able to access the material and who chose to leak / sell information contained that was subsequently published by a German paper.

You can’t even call that news, it’s garbage. That’s called clickbaiting. They make a title that could tickle your curiosity so thatyou click and open a new page with 3 lines of text and full of banners and commercials
