If you could see any old circuit rebuilt elsewhere...

The countries around the Arabian Gulf seems to have a lot of desert, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE etc. and new circuits have cropped up there over the years. Out of all the defunct/destroyed/disfigured circuits, which layouts you like to see rebuilt with modern facilities?

I would choose Kyalami. There's just nothing like that anywhere. Whether it would produce good racing or not is another question...

Zandvoort in it's former guise would be great, as would the old Österreichring.

Cadwell Park.

Must include the Barn that they used to open the doors on when races were running, the ducks in the lake (behind said barn), and The Mountain and Farm section perfectly recreated, now that would be good.

Cadwell must be the only track I've ever raced on that went through the middle of a working farm, if you were the first car out in the morning session you have to take it easy first time through the Farm section, give the chickens time to dive for cover!

The Osterrechring could easily be revived, the old track is still there, pretty much complete. Zandvoort, I agree with.

Ian, Cadwell Park isn't defunct is it??

Cadwell Park has been modified by Palmer's minions over the past few years, with the addition of a couple of chicanes.

I think Red Bull tried to rebuild it, but they couldn't get the proper permission and stuff.

For me, I would chose Riverside, and Bridgehampton.

Read that out of context, and lmao.

Cadwell: Yeah and the barn and woods and stuff has gone too.

I know they say it's dangerous now, but by Christ it's infinitely safer now than it was 20 years ago. I think the corner was called Park, but back then there wasn't as much "wall" on the inside and if you lost it on the exit, you just shot off a drop and fell down onto the Gooseneck section of the track

But yes, I slightly did mis-read the OP

The original Zandvoort would be great, as well as original Fuji.

On the less viable side, old Spa and Rouen-les-Essarts, just because I'd love to see modern cars tackling those circuits, even though they would probably not offer any great racing...

Riverside for me. It would go well at a desert location too since that's how the landscape looked like during the track's hey days. Y U NO REMAKE RIVERSIDE AT BAHRAIN TILKE

I have a feeling the middle of the Arabian desert won't be a viable place to rebuild a track.
