That festival I went to last week, weirdest shit ever. Got in a moshpit where I thought everyone was kissing each other, so I kissed a girl on the cheek. Got a good beating by her bf then.

Great festival though.

In reply to some of the stoner stuff, in covers sec.

The last new rock band that really mattered.

I was very offended when neither the Stones or Led Zep was on the Olympic bullshit endings. Should be glad with just The Who I guess, but I had had enough of the BS by then and gone to bed. Bad.

Jesper, you strike me as somebody who could help. Presuming you are a fan, what King Diamond would you reccomend?

Can't hurt to post the odd classic, though I'm tempted to put Marc in the somewhat overrated thread.

This live album just slays, and slays, and noone's dead yet, or nofink. Johnny Winter puts one over on all of them Jimi, Zep, Ten Years After, you name 'em.

EDIT: And note, at 1:45, BAP! The Brussels Asshole Patrol, always a force to be reckoned with. END EDIT.
Live/studio contrast, same year, no Derringer:

This is how "Hillbilly Hamlet" would have appeared, doing his final show, at "Elsinore Trailer Park". Still, awesome, and then some. Saw his band once at Roskilde, I think it was, someone threw shit at him and he said fuck off and sodded off, during one of the best live performances I've ever witnessed.

From an old (1932) Danish jazz 78rpm vinyl record, obviously a cover version. Can't trace this, tho.

The title looks like it SHOULD translate to 'Oh (Golly?)! I threw up over the niggerboy.' :omg: :dunno:

(No offence intended to any colour sensitive members.)

In the video to this, they hang up a guy by his skin. The thing is, it might be real, because I've seen people do it in real life. Not in person, but on the net.

I saw that twice, once at the Festival of Fools, and once at the Roskilde Festival (Jim Rose Circus Side Show). They seem to enjoy that.
