Tiring. I projectile vomited near the top, proper Mr. Creoso style. As I was barfing, Jesper came to mind, and so instead of giving up, I decided to soldier on. I have pics on my iPad, I will get them uploaded.

Well I was thinking of quitting but I know Jesper would just say "Fuck it" and continue. Inspiration.kals wrote:What a high opinion you have of Jesper.PTRACER wrote:As I was barfing, Jesper came to mind.

Great, well done! Wonderful vista. I guess I owe you £100. I reckon you can see yourself as a shadow in that first one.
BTW, all you need now is to do some bullfighting, then you're in the Hemingway Club.

Totally up to you if you wanna donate it to the charity or whatever. I raised £200 before I climbed. What's the Hemingway Club?

The crater is totally a non-event isn't it?, there's nothing to it visually.
When we went up there my dad was gonna take a photo of me infront the crater, but it looked like it could of been taken on the beach so he told me to go stand in another place with the backdrop behind me.
You have my total respect for climbing that, we cheated and took the cable car, then walked the rest of the way, my mum only got as far as the cable car station, the air was so thin she nearly barfed so decided not to climb to the peak. I remember falling asleep on the way back down though, something about descending in a car is too fast for your inner ear to handle and most people fall asleep and crash, we didn't obviously.
One thing that struck me on the way back (before I dozed off) was the lava fields, they'd literally cut the road right through the middle of it and it's something I've never experienced since, quiet amazing.
