The problem with Virgin though is that they refuse to have channels that they class as small audience - hence why Virgin has about 6 HD channels, one of which is a "+1 hour" from memory. People think that Virgin don't have Sky HD channels and the Eurosport HD channels because Virgin and SKy had a bust up, its actually because Virgin don't think they have enough customers to warrant paying for a deal.
PPV could work for Nascar but it won't if it relies on Virgin Media...
That's not strictly true, they have channels that attract only a few hundred viewers per show in peak times, and even less off peak, they get paid to carry channels (believe it or not, Sky actually pays Virgin to have Sky basic channels on the Virgin network, £30Mil a year iirc), so they don't care if one person's watching or 5 million.
Virgin doesn't have the capacity bandwidth on the network to roll channels like Eurosport HD out Nationwide (this was the reason why Motors nearly got dropped, because they didn't have the capacity to roll it our Nationwide but another one got the chop), and Sky refuse to allow them access to the HD and red button streams citing piracy as a main concern, Virgin are hoping that OFCOM will force Sky to make the channels available, but until then Virgin customers won't get them. The red button services and Sky HD channels are not part of the rate card, so they don't have to make them available and understandably from a business point of view, they'll keep them "Sky exclusive" for as long as they can, apart from bandwidth, there's no technical reason as to why we can't get the red button stuff now, hell Virgin even get the stream, they're just not allowed to redistribute it to customers.
Virgin are rolling out Nagra 3 encryption cards, upgrading the network infrastructure and switching off Analogue to free up bandwidth, once that's done they'll have the capacity to run hundreds of HD channels, 200Mb/s Broadband and hopefully the encryption update will show Sky they're serious and we'll get them.
Until then we'll continue to get conflicting excuses about why we don't have channels, but Virgin and Sky are no where near as hateful of each other as is made out (as you say), they simply don't have the network infrastructure available to run more HD channels than we've already got, in many area's, like this one, you can see that the system is stretched to it's limits already if you're TV is big enough.
I am very sorry if you find my posts long and boring, I like to type and often go off on a tangent.

That looks just right. I've never really liked wings on any car really, not even on road cars meant for the public. Maybe ok on F1 cars and those spacepod-like sports car prototypes as the rest of the car is just as zany. But on cars/sedans, I've always felt a wing's completely out of place. It's like someone planted an antenna/satellite receiver or something. Ruins the whole look and flow of the car. Spoilers are much more subtle and go with the rest of the body, especially if they're contoured properly so they fit in just right with the look of the rest of the car.

Just heard that Nelson Piquet Jr will be running in the ARCA race at Daytona for Eddie Sharp, one of the top teams in the series. He'll be racing alongside Indycar standouts Danica Patrick and Milka Duno making their stock-car debuts.

Two women and Nelson Piquet Jr.?
There will be exactly 0,75 cars left at the end of the day.
Square numbers are just like women, if they're under 13 just do them in your head.

Search on Youtube for that race at Montreal. Short story was that Robby Gordon was set to win when he received a penalty that he didn't want. After that: drama.
