Jürgen Alzen broke 7min border at the Nordschleife
Jürgen Alzen broke the 7 minute border around the Nordschleife during a race of the RCN (Rundstrecken Challenge Nürburgring, Circuit Challenge Nürburgring) last weekend. Alzen's 6:58min lap was the very first sub 7 lap at the Ring since good old Group C days in 1983.
I am currently looking on info of the car in use but I'd bet on Porsche 997 or similar. If I found more info there , I'll return

The average lap speed was:
Edited: See my post below
Quite quick there I'd say

It wasn't 658 seconds though, it was a 418 second lap.

Thanks for the hint Cheeveer.
I realized that too right after I switched the puter off. I am awake again so I correct my fault here and now.
The average lap speed (in the now hopefully correct version) was:
20832m/418sec =
~ 179.414 kilometer/hour
~ 111.483 miles/hour
Still quite quick I'd say

You can really hear the bottom of the car slamming the ground, I'm surprised his car doesn't lose control.
