Discussion in Modern Motorsport (to all members)
Hey,
There's more to racing than F1. All the active threads are about F1...If we as a whole could start talking about other series.
Examples: MotoGP, BTCC, DTM, F3000, F3, V8Supercars, CCWS, IRL, etc....
Oh, and some people should realize some of us like oval racing. There are many oval fans who like both oval and road racing and can tolerate both. However, it seems like here, any mention of oval racing gets shut down because "it's easy," etc. That scares off members.
I enjoy the company I have here...the community sense brings me back, but sometimes I think there's a narrow-minded discussion and groupthink.

Warren has had this discussion with me in the past - complaining there's too many F1 threads. I simply said to him "Well, what do you want to talk about?" and he said "WRC, sportscar racing, that kinda thing". So I said "Start off some discussions on those then" and he replied "Nah..."
I'd love to start threads on other series, but I don't really watch anything closely, other than Formula 1. But yeah - I'd love to see more threads on other types of racing.
