Probably the most obvious news of 2024, Erik Jones is out with a compression fracture. Corey Heim will be making his Cup series debut this weekend.

It looks to me like Watkins Glen is making sure anyone that takes advantage of the bus stop curbing from now on will come out on the other side with a destroyed race car.

Kyle Larson presented some pretty damning data, last year he was pulling on average nearly 12g going over the curb entering the bus stop. ...I assume hitting these only once will be better than hitting the old curb lap after lap 90 times over.

Prepare for carnage when they go there.

Yes I noticed that and was going to report same. Interesting that Adderton is backing Brown through his Mobile X US Brand, the brand he backed Kostecki with until their "Brodie returning to Erebus in SC" inspired fallout happened.

It has also been confirmed NASCAR outings wont be part of Brodie's non Supercars racing this year.

I notice also that Cam Waters is back in NASCAR land this weekend, racing in the Trucks at Kansan, running again in the #66 ThorSport Racing Ford, the same as his last Truck outing at Martinssville last month. Again backed by Tickford. sponsor Tradie.

I see that ended for Cam with a tempers rising 'chat' post race after some rubbin on the final lap with Layne Riggs. Cam got a bit loose. Cam went over to Riggs after maybe to apologise but Riggs wasnt having any of it looking at the reaction.

As Cam said after "Just Riggs getting shitty after being slow ll night"

Well then. We had 0.003 seconds, then beat it with 0.002, and now we've gone and done 0.001. What a year so far.

You want Silly Season?

How about Stewart-Haas Racing Reportedly Putting Entire Operation Up for Sale[
According to reports, the NASCAR team co-owned by Tony Stewart and Gene Haas is doing much more than just selling a couple of its valuable charters – they are putting their entire racing operation and facility on the market.

Matt Weaver of Autoweek’s Motorsports reported that SHR’s “entire building and operation is said to be on the market as well” in addition to the team’s four NASCAR Cup Series charters.

Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports was the first to suggest SHR’s Kannapolis, North Carolina headquarters could be for sale. The sprawling campus currently houses two separate buildings – one dedicated to SHR’s NASCAR operation and another for its Formula 1 program with Haas F1 Team.

With Stewart-Haas Racing entering the final year of its manufacturing agreement with Ford in 2024, the team appears to have a lot of flexibility regarding its future plans. That could potentially include downsizing or even an outright sale of its racing assets and facilities.

The charter market in NASCAR has been red-hot, with teams actively seeking new charters to potentially expand operations. SHR’s four coveted Cup Series charters would likely attract significant interest and sale prices.

But Weaver’s report indicates SHR may be open to parting with much more than just its NASCAR team charters. If the entire facility is truly on the market, it raises questions about whether the operation would remain intact under new ownership or if it signals Stewart and Haas are prepared to exit racing altogether.

Fans and the industry are keeping a close watch on how this situation unfolds in the coming months. SHR’s four-car lineup of Josh Berry, Noah Gragson, Chase Briscoe and Ryan Preece could all be impacted depending on what decisions are ultimately made.

Does the Haas F1 Team operate out of the same SHR premises?
Asking for a friend. :suspicious:
