Bottom post of the previous page:

On a different note it's time to have a closer look at how we got about qualifying. It was bad with 22 full time cars, with 26 it's mayhem.

On a track like this, it certainly is.

I saw David Land advocating for one lap qualifying. Over my dead body! But I would say that it needs revamping.

3 groups of 8-9 cars (as opposed to 12-13), with the top 3 from each session advancing, followed by a top 9 shootout?

Plenty of action and lots of banging so far. Dixon leads Herta and JoNew as we creep in on the halfway mark.

Felix goes for the divebomb on Rossi at the end of the straight, they touch and rossi is sent into the wall. I can see Felix getting a penalty for that.

Another caution on L56. Track surface breaking up in T1.

Edit: Probably from the wall on the inside of T1 after it getting tagged a bit too much.

Kirkwood wrecks JJ. Palou tags Ericsson twice in half a lap nearly wrecking both.

Great race! Glad Felix didn't get a penalty, that move on Rossi was 11/10. If there ever was a racing incident, that was it.

Pretty action-packed.

Dixon tied with JoNew, despite having one win to Josef's three. Shows how ridiculously consistent he is. The Professor of Indycar.

Twin Iowa races this weekend. That'll knock a few contenders out (literally or figuratively). Still pretty tight up top.

Though I guess we'll likely be saying bye-bye to Palou in third, lol.
