Bottom post of the previous page:

Given how few F1 drivers are there, I suppose it will really look stupid if suddenly we have more positive cases this season when pandemic has clearly eased off with less dangerous mutations.

Should we be going back to best 20/23 races?

I'm sure Lewis fans will support this as they're so fixated on the integrity of the sport.

This would actually hamper Hamilton who is less prone to DNFs unlike Verstappen :whistling:

Each driver's best 20 races won by Lewis Hamilton.

If I am not mistaken Aussie will be first driver who is coming off quarantine so close to actual race. I wonder despite him feeling "fine", whether he will be able to stand on his feet once he parks his car after 57 laps. Sebastian Vettel will be most likely in the same situation next week (assuming he will be cleared for the race).

Well that might shut down some of the 'Seb will announce retirement this week' rumours.

Open to interpretation! Maybe he'll race for Aston in the Historic Demonstration at Albert Park :P.

#keeptherumourgoing ;)

It has been a funny rumour though. He's barely had track time in the car! I can understand driving it, thinking it's awful and then thinking I'm too old for this crap and retiring.

We all know it was all just Seb protesting that Australia was always the traditional season opener and as far as he was concerned it was going to remain that way this year regardless of F1's need to go to the Middle East.

So a double pronged protest.... Say no to Middle East races
Australia is traditionally the first race of the year and Seb was sticking with tradition..

Well he does use the number 5, much like another famous Red Five who buggered off when they realised their car was a shit box.

I wouldn't miss Seb as a driver, as without a top car I don't think he adds anything these days (Like Kimi with Sauber), but I would miss Seb as a personality. When F1 people say that Lewis is the sports moral compass, I bring up a little bit of sick. The number one person on the grid who seems to "get it" from a normal persons perspective, and not act like a privileged brat (whilst claiming to be non-privileged), is Seb. He'll speak out. He'll walk the walk to back that up as well.

We've lost Ayrton's voice, and we've lost Michael's voice. I feel like when Seb quits F1, we'll lose his voice as well.

Last 25 years, we have silent World Champions: Jaques, Mika, Kimi, Michael,
Vocal Champions: Fernando, Jenson, Nico, Lewis, Max, Seb.

The only people on that list that I actually want to hear from are Fernando and Seb.
