Quart is again doing his best to lose this championship, isn't he?

Yep, double penalty, the last one for 'getting undressed' mid-race! :haha:
Something to do with his leathers coming undone, and he threw out his chest protector but obviously couldnt do the suit up again.

I think it is a bit odd that he wasn't black flagged. Maybe that would have happened if it had happened early on in the race. I think if you are riding around bare-breasted at racing speeds, you should park it!

My thoughts went back to a 2008 NASCAR Truck race at Atlanta where Kyle Busch had to pit out of the lead because his driver's side window net had come out of its bracket (and he was holding it up with his left hand and driving with the right till the in-car cameras spotted it!). He had to pit and get it fixed because of the safety risk of having tyre or debris flying in through the window.

Anytime there's a safety failing, it should be a no-brainer that you call the guy in so yes, it was a bit odd that they didn't.

at the same time, he agrees with the notion that a black flag would have been reasonable.

Yep, although he was helped a lot by doing a Leclerc and bringing out a red in the last minute of qualy when others who looked like they might pip him had to abort.

Bit of a hero to zero for Vinales starting on the back row, and Morbidelli down in 18th.
Quartar second fastest with Rossi the next best Yamaha down in 16th!

Gardner wins Moto 2 at a canter.
(And as @MonteCristo said elsewhere, Doohan wins the F3 race!) :haha:

Marquez wins for 11th time in a row at Sachsenring. Just rename a corner after him already!

Maverick Vinales dead last on pace. Ouch.

Has Honda already handed over the winners trophy to Aleix 'roadblock' Espargaro?
After all, it was him who gifted Marquez with a gap he was able to maintain, on a circuit not as hard on his injured arm. Marquez will have to back this victory up in Assen next week, else it was just a one off and not the big ballyhoo advertisement board 'comeback' victory.
And this time without the aid of a roadblock, please.

Actually MM93 build the crucial two second gap around laps 10-11 when they put out the white flag and there was a small threat of rain coming. This was also when Miller, Quartararo & Oliveira actually passed Aleix so the road blocking wasn't really the main reason MM93 won

Pol Espargaro must be kicking himself for leaving KTM at worst moment possible even though he kinda buckled under pressure last season already (unlike Oliveira).

My analysis too. Aleix got scared when the "rain" came, and that won Marquez the race.
