Vettel admitted that he had not seen Carlos and the team did not warn him. He has copped the penalty as saying it is fair but there was no intent.... it certainly seems that way from the replays.
So, Kimi Raikkonen, Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Haas's Romain Grosjean all move up a place on the grid to third, fourth and fifth respectively with Seb now 6th.
As it happened it made no difference to Carlos, who although he lost the lap, had gone quick enough to qualify for Q3 on his first Q2 run

A balltearer. Markelov passing 4 cars on the last lap was pretty special, late tyre change assisted or not. Very impressed by George Russell these days.... moreso than Norris tbh.

Raikkonen gets a good jump and throws it away a few corners later. A few cars went off the track but didn't lose it.
