What a great dice between Markelov and Delétraz, stopped by the SC at the end. Controlled drive by Fuoco and he won in style.

Forgot to mention the start from Markelov.... talk about threading the needle. Brilliant to watch. He would have sucked his stomach in as he went for the gap. :haha:

It has not only been a good weekend (so far) for DAAANNN in terms of Aussies in motor racing overseas.

Jack (son of Motorcycle legend Mick) Doohan has claimed his maiden British Formula 4 win in Race 3 at Thruxton.

Starting second, Doohan got the better of pole-sitter Dennis Hauger at the end of Lap 5 and pulled clear of the chasing pack to take his first win in the category.

Doohan also received GBP5000 in prize money for being the first rookie driver to win a race in 2018.

On top of that young Aussie Alex Peroni has claimed a faultless win in the Formula Renault Eurocup series in Monaco, winning the race from pole. Good luck to Peroni when Formula Renault series will take to the streets for a second race later today with Peroni due to start from second on the grid.

Totally brilliant performance from George Russell in the first F2 race (30laps) at Paul Ricard. As they lined up on the grid, slick shod, the rain came down and made things very tricky. Russell stayed out on slicks as others pitted for wets, and his gamble paid off as the rain stopped, the track drying out by mid race forcing those who changed to wets to change back to slicks..

On the other hand championship leader Lando Norris spun and stalled his way to finish dead last (other than the DNF's) a lap down. Russell jumps to second in the championship 7 points behind Norris.

Big shunt at the start of Euro F3 race 2 at the Norisring. Stalled car got ploughed into from the back.

Drivers okay.

Holy shit. Arjun Maini's spray at his team after the race should go down in history as one of the greatest pieces of radio ever.

Puts Alonso to shame.

As per the YouTube description: "I think it's safe to say that this is probably one of the most craziest radio soundbites I've ever heard."

Woah. That was extreme even as rants go. Sounds like he's weeping.

Missed the race, what made him so upset?
