in 1989 Michael Schumacher won the F3 race and stood on this podium

he won the avus race in 1990 , in 1989 he was 3.

Hi everyone!
A week ago i was in Germany minding my own deal, but visited AVUS on my way in Berlin too. I finally took a decent exploration around the old circuit banking place. Right now there is only a huge truck parking lot, with the motel and petrol station inside. The old "Nordschleife" hairpin which was used since 60s i think and for 90's DTM is still there and so i took a picture of my car there.
Going behind the main grandstand there's really not much to see. There is a street and the whole grandstand access is all locked. God bless the people who climb over the fences to explore more. I couldn't. But still, a very nice curiosity-feeding noon in western Berlin

I've built the 89-91 layout for rFactor. It's not 100% accurate, but it still looks like the AVUS.
I wanted to add the 88 layout : I saw a video on youtube a few months ago with the chicane on the front straight unlike 1989, but that's all I can remember. Does anyone have more info please ?

I once posted a video of that chicane, I'll have a look tomorrow and post it and maybe I can find some more material...
Maybe a stupid question... but can those rFactor tracks be converted to Grand Prix Legends? And can you do that? That would be great...
EDIT:
Here's the original post... I don't have that file anymore.. maybe somebody else could help? Otherwise I have to re-do it..

Thanks for the reply. I somehow missed that post
Don't worry about the video, the location of the chicane on a map and some pictures to see how the chicane looks like will be enough
AFAIK, you can only convert to GPL from older Papyrus games, because it needs a .trk file (the layout and collision walls with no trackside object). The only things you can get are the objects, for example the Mercedes building. But I don't really have a clue on how to create tracks in GPL.

Thanks, looks like a slow annoying chicane.
If nobody converts it, I'll give it a try but I can't promise
