2008 Season Games

I noticed on another site, that they were advertising their season games (Such as F1 manager, MotoGp manager, prediction leagues, etc) & I thought it'd be a good time to get things moving here, in 'Announcing' which items would be considered this year.

As always, I think PTRacer & Aerogi will be offering their games this year here. Hopefully there will be enough interest from people wanting to participate & possibly run some of their own?

Hopefully, this will get the ball rolling here.

Pick 8 Prediction league - F1 Style (TBC)

I was actually planning on keeping this a secret but I've already discussed with Paul that I'm opening up a Manager about the IRL.

And I'll be continuing with The Fastlane Dream Team Game again.

We should do some Pick 8 competitions as well, at least for Formula one.

Well, It's probably better to get it out into the open to create interest & establish that you're doing it, so that no one else comes along & opens one up on you.

As always, we know I'm the hot favourite for the competition....

However, one suggestion that will make it better for everyone is to set a nominated date to start registering (ie, 4th March 2007 @ 7.00pm Uk time [etc 11am Aust time, 5pm USA time etc] that way the problems of last year can be avoided, as it was borderline fascicle.

Additionally, you've got extra members here who are going to miss out, so I'm not sure how you're going to tackle that one?

I think this be the most active one here judging on how many people like nascar who've recently joined & also been here. Looking forward to it matey.

Right, well, we've done that two years in a row now. Would it be unfair of me to say that entrants for the 2008 game must have played in no more than one previous Fastlane F1 Dream Team Game?

Although that would exclude me and I wouldn't want that. So, no it's not fair.

That'd be harsh, but at the moment you've got alot of time to see what your options are. Have a look at the ones similar to yours to get some ideas. No doubt, more suggestions from people here will come.

If you're suggesting I increase the numbers, then I'd rather not. You have no idea how long it takes to calculate the points for 22 players from each qualifying session and race.

I am running a massive pick-ems game over on TBK, but I think for here a manager game would be better.

I have to start quick on it though.
