Well it was but a service stop drops the Jotait back to 4th behind the Glick, so again Hypercar 1-2-3 .
The LMP2 cars with their smaller fuel tanks dont have the stint length of the Hypercars. (18 /19 stops to date for the Hypercars against 23 for the Jota.).
The #7 now leads the #8 by 30 seconds with a payback of the earlier problem the #7 had getting shafted by a slowzone in the pit cycle delaying the #8. (It happened the other way round earlier). Basically the #8 got caught in a slowzone on its inlap and a different one on its outlap so a double whammy hit for the #8. Its happened to the #7 earlier when it was in the lane when a slowzone was deployed and the #8 was already through it.

WOW the GT Pro leading Porsche #92 ran off a line a little through a gravel trap after a big lockup, had a tyre blowout on the straight and has literally ripped the front end off. Debris everywhere . Limping slowly back to the pits but their lead has gone and chances of a class win with it

The Hybrid light is flashing Red.... no one can touch the car. They are doing a power recycle process again. Still just sitting there trying to recycle it.

With all the Toyota bizzo going on I didnt notice the #92 GTEPro Porsche that had the tyre blowout has rejoined after repairs but is now down from 1st to 6th in class behind SVG's Ferrari. 3 laps down on the class leaders.
So now the #64 Corvette is leading the class from the #61 Ferrari and #91 Porsche

Must have been so frustrating to be sitting there in the pits like that
Especially for all the crew with the car potentially live with the red hybrid light flashing and them unable to even touch, just give Lopen radio instructions of what to do to fix. Eventually it recycled and they could carry out the refuelling. Talking of it being related to the front electric motor which is the same error thay had at Spa.
Will it last and more to the point will the #8 have any problems?
I said pre race Toyota themselves were their biggest opposition

And its the #64 Corvette. Three wide on the Mulsanne and the Perrodo drivenLMP2 (#83?) got squeezed from a bit and suddenly came cross and hit the Corvette deflecting it into the barriers. Debris everywhere and the Corvette is out on the spot.
At the time the #64 was chasing the #51 Ferrari for the GTE Pro lead.
To make it worse the #63 Corvette had just been officially retired so a double DNF for the Corvettes.
Perrodo managed to limp the #83 back to the pits for repairs
