2023 will be fantastic.

Looks great but I am a bit worried that there are a lot of red white and black cars now..... the Yodas, Glicks and now the Porkers. All similar colour schemes. A bit of variety might have been nice. :dunno:

Im also really looking forward to 2023 tbh. So much potential Even with similar liveries.

Also nice for us Aussies is that Matt Campbell will be driving them. Also on the team of drivers will be Felipe Nasr, Dane Cameron, Mathieu Jaminet, Laurens Vanthoor, Andre Lotterer, Michael Christensen, and Kevin Estre which is a pretty strong lineup.

Porsche
BMW
Vanwall
Cadillac (Le Mans?)

Am I missing any?

Amazing line-up.

I think there are also entries, not all WEC, for Accura, Lambo (2024) and I thought Alpine as well (for 2024).

Add to the fact that as well as the Factory Porsches there will be the possibility of there being Porsche supplied Customer cars.
To this end the first of those customer 963 LMDh for next year's WEC has been confirmed by this years Le Mans LMP2 winner Jota, with title sponsorship from Hertz.

That customer type arrangement will also be evident in IMSA cars as well.... JDC-Miller MotorSports announced yesterday that it will campaign a customer Porsche 963 in the IMSA SportsCar Championship.

Happy to be corrected.

So, we've seen it in a race for the first time. I haven't watched, so I'll let those who did be the judges: is the Peugeot any good? Do we potentially have a race on our hands next year at Le Man's?

The Peugeot is promising. It can run the same pace as Toyota. They did a lot of testing, but both cars, and in particular the #93 car, had their teething problems.
The commentators were right about this: The Glickenhaus needed a few races to get there, Toyota had 10 years. So we should not be harsh on Peugeot. The cars look awesome, when watching them on track.

Certainly looks "fit for purpose".
Looking forward to these cars and all the different makes with their interpretations.
Should be a cracking series.

Isotta Fraschini Presents Michelotto-Built Hybrid LMH Car
Classic Italian automaker Isotta Fraschini presents hybrid LMH car for 2023 Le Mans bid…
by Daniel Lloyd

Classic Italian carmaker Isotta Fraschini has presented a hybrid-powered LMH car built by Michelotto that it plans to enter into next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The Milan-based company, which was founded in 1900 and famed for building early racing and luxury cars, plans to unveil the car in February before entering the third round of the FIA World Endurance Championship season at Spa-Francorchamps in late April.

The four-wheel-drive prototype will be powered by a 3-liter turbocharged V6 engine connected to a front-axle electric motor. The hybrid system is completed by a 900-volt lithium-ion battery.

According to Isotta Fraschini, the in-house developed engine has a maximum output of 520 kW (around 700 horsepower).

Other technical features include a seven-speed transverse sequential gearbox, a carbon fiber chassis and a brake-by-wire system.

Isotta Fraschini plans to use Michelin’s 12.5-inch LMH tires on the front and 14-inch tires on the rear.

The car has been developed using Williams Advanced Engineering’s aerodynamic facilities in the U.K. and will be built at Michelotto in Padua, which is best known for its assembly work on Ferrari’s sports car racing models.

Michelotto is the build partner for the Ferrari 488 motorsport range but that role has transferred to French company ORECA for the upcoming Ferrari 296 GT3.

Isotta Fraschini plans to launch a road-going version of its LMH car, with the company stating: “From the racing Hypercar will be derived customer cars for use on the track and versions with license plates.”

Its entry into Le Mans is subject to approval from the event selection committee.

If granted a place on the grid, Isotta Fraschini will go up against automotive giants Toyota, Ferrari, Peugeot, Cadillac and Porsche in the battle for overall honors.

“For its return to the great international scene there can be no more difficult challenge, and Isotta Fraschini will not shy away from this confrontation,” the company said.

Isotta Fraschini cars regularly competed in early 20th-century motor races, including the Coppa Florio which the manufacturer won in 1907.

The present company’s current work aside from its LMH venture includes producing engines and generators for maritime and industrial applications.

Very nice! And not a red white and black car for @Everso Biggyballies!

In any case, the more the merrier, and best of luck to them.

We got official Ferrari pictures. They are calling it the 499P. I like the yellow in the livery, I hope they make it the distinguishing feature between the works cars.
